Thunderstorm Listening
You sit in the living room of your house, just listening to the storm outside, glad to not have to go anywhere. Your mind wanders and you don't bother to redirect it. The old grandfather clock makes a nice addition to the sound of the storm, you think.
But there's something different. A sound that you don't remember hearing before. Wet footsteps walk around the floor of the room. There's no one visible, and you're home alone.
