The Nunnery of the Lais
Perhaps it was here that Marie de France wrote her splendid Lais. With the harmonious singing of her Sisters In the distance and surrounded by untouched nature beyond the simple farm, Marie writes somewhere in the wild flower fields with her quill making quick scratches on the parchment. Hot tea is within a quick reach reminding her of simple pleasures. The bells sound, telling her the time. For now, she is at peace and composes her masterpieces.
