Meadowville Station 1914
This is Meadowville Station, the only train stop in the tiny quiet town Meadowville, Missouri. It employs 18 men, including 17 year old mechanic Chester, who's fingerpicking is heard occasionally on lazy summer days between the lonely train whistles and singing cicadas. 2 children, a brother and sister, make their living shining shoes and carrying luggage. Their laughter and bright spirits shine through the humdrum chatter of the day.
