you got up at 5 am and now you’re watching the love of your life come across the field. Neither of you have gotten much sleep, being burdened by the feelings you have for each other. He’s come to ask you one last time, if you will be his wife, or forever leave you alone if your answer remains the same as that bitter day in the rain— but little does he know you are also going to confess your love for him.
The crickets are still chirping from the long night, and the rooster has not yet crowed. The birds are only just beginning to wake the world, as a quiet stream flows gently in the background.
