Create a new atmosphere
Creating a new ambient sound (atmosphere) by mixing audio samples is very easy. For each channel you can click on the "Load" button. This will allow you to load a sound from our huge sample archive.
After you have loaded a sound, you have the option to change settings for this channel, for example the volume or the panning. All sounds will start again playing from the beginning, once they have reached the end of the audio file (looping). If you choose the "Crossfade" option, the end of the sound will fade-in into the beginning of the same sound.
One of our unique features is the random functionality. If you check this option, the sound will not loop constantly, instead it will play over and over again randomly with pauses in between. So you can have random thunder (e.g. 1 time every minute) or let a cow moo once in a while. This keeps your atmosphere unique, every time you listen to it.
If you want to use your own sounds, you need to login and upload them on your user dashboard page. Once you have registered with us, you can save your atmosphere hitting the "save settings" button. You then also have the option to share your ambiance with your friends.
