buck takes peter to rome with him to look for a certain, underground, deadly assassin. and as they lie upon a roof and peter goes on and on and on about how "it's been 10 years" and "the likelihood of her looking anything like herself is slim" and "she could be anyone in this crowd", bucky is focused on one floppy hat, yellow-sundress figure, bag slung carefully around her shoulder as she peacefully waltzes through the streets of rome. he knows it's her--he's just refuses to use his binoculars to make sure.
it's too much like a dream for him to ruin it just yet.
