boarding school library.
it’s the week before winter break classes have been extra stressful. after you finish the day’s schedule, you retreat to the campus library.
you pick the perfect spot in the back corner of the library where (hopefully) no one will bother you. seated beside the window and surrounded by bookshelves, you bask in the warmth of the fireplace in front of you. before it started to sleet, you picked up a cup of tea and a small snack from the cafeteria to hold you off until dinner time.
now, you are at peace, taking refuge in the large library. you bunker down and get to studying, praying this soft rain lasts forever.
