Awaiting Battle
You stand in the front lines of an army, awaiting orders to charge. Your feet sink heavily into the wet soil, weary from the day's march. Rain dances off your helmet and shield, spattering your face and soaking your leather gambeson. The gathering forces line up for battle and you clench the haft of your spear eagerly, in hopes that a worthy foe might prove a challenge this day. Scoffing at the unlikeliness of such things, you close your eyes and breath steadily, settling into a state of readiness.
